Here is what you need

)A convenient log and expense entry form that you keep on board your plane;
)A log program that can track Flight and Air Time. Flight Time for your pilot log book and Air Time for maintenance purposes and for your Aircraft Log Book;
)A program that will track everything with regard to your Medical, IFR, BFR expiries, currencies, ELT, Transponder, maintenance inspections, service bulletins and more;
)A program that will track all of your expenses, either flight, or other operating expenses;
)A program that will report on your plane's performance, that will calculate your aircraft's fuel and oil consumption, on a flight or time basis as well as your cost per hour;
)And if you are part of a partnership, a program that will automatically create an engine overhaul reserve or any other reserve for that matter, and calculate each pilot's contribution to the reserve based on the time flown and calculate each pilot's share towards expenses.
